I saw the Liga game agains Espanyol, and truly our team deserved the win..Though sadly i only saw the second half, it was but a nice treat with goals from Raul and Gravesen, who came in as a sub for Zidane....The match ended in a 4-0 win for the homeside, i wonder who scored the other 2 goals on the first half.......
........i woke up at 7:20 am, hahay, 20 minutes too late. damn.
ehem, Barca lost to Atletico 2-0, gap is now only 4 points. yeah baby!!!! Barca is feeling the pressure.
MADRID, Feb 14 (Reuters) - Real Madrid coach Vanderlei Luxemburgo says his team showed the stuff of champions in grinding out a 2-1 win over Osasuna at the weekend.
The pressure was on Real after Primera Liga leaders Barcelona thumped Real Zaragoza 4-1 away on Saturday to open a seven-point gap at the top. Real recovered from a goal down in a rain-lashed El Sadar on Sunday to cut the deficit back to four.
"We are still only second but we have kept our chances of winning the league alive. If we want to top the table we have to be prepared to fight and that's what we have done."
Real goalkeeper Iker Casillas proved to be the difference between the two sides, making some crucial interventions before and after Pierre Webo had given Osasuna the lead.
Real punished Osasuna keeper Ricardo Sanzol twice in the space of three minutes near the end. With 13 minutes left he failed to hold Roberto Carlos' fierce free kick, which allowed Michael Owen to level, and then fumbled David Beckham's free kick to gift Ivan Helguera the winner.
..........but then again, Real was saved by the woodwork twice, they still need to improve their defense. JUVENTUS, is their biggest threat.........

MADRID, Feb 7 (Reuters) - Juventus coach Fabio Capello admits that the arrival of Vanderlei Luxemburgo at Real Madrid has made this month's Champions League clash a far tougher proposition.
Capello, who lead Madrid to the Spanish title in 1997, returns as boss of the current Serie A leaders on February 22, at the start of the knock-out rounds of the competition.
But Capello recognises that since Brazilian Luxemburgo replaced Mariano Garcia Remon as Madrid coach in December, triggering a six-match unbeaten run in the league, Real are a changed side.
'Real Madrid worry me much more now that Luxemburgo has taken over, because they seem to have taken on a new identity,' Capello told spanish daily EL Pais.
'Luxemburgo's arrival is notable because for the first time in a number of years they are fighting to win the ball back after they lose it.
'Also, they are reorganising themselves and coming back to help their defenders much more, which is something they were not doing a month ago.'
In stark contrast to Real Madrid's new found form Capello's Juventus have just stumbled to consecutive defeats to Sampdoria and Palermo, though they remain two points clear of AC Milan at the top of Serie A.
