Hi istoryans,

My wife was offered an HR Manager job in one of the big call centers in Cebu and I'm just wondering what the average salary rate is for managers in a call center. What about a training manager position - how much does it pay on the average?

Kay basin unya gamay lang kaayo ang offer sa iya compared to industry standards. What are the standard perks or benefits of being a manager in a call center?

this depends sir sa qualification sa imu potential manager because the HR people would offer or even try to lowball new hires as much as they can, not all, but most do.

last 2006, the range for HR managers in call centers here in Cebu was around 60k to 90k depending on previous experience and also how new or big the hiring company is.

just a little helpful note, make sure that the job description is complete and thorough, otherwise, your wife might be screwed over by unindicated job responsibilities which will put more burden on her than you expected. some companies would usually put in vague job descriptions and later on would add more and more responsibilities sometimes not even encompassed by the position.

Thanks for all the info. I get the gut feel that being a manager in a call center does not seem to give the job security that a manager position in a non-call center industry does. I've heard that call centers may lay off agents to keep operations afloat in budget constraints but they also do this even to performing managers (who meet or exceed job expectations)? Ouch.
