i know right? haha sakto ka about jquery nga UI part pro pwede mn sd sila mka connect sa server side mao nang $.ajax nga syntax nila pra mka connect xa sa mga server side languages. d kaayo ko maayo unsaon pgencounter sa mga hacking site maybe soon enough katonon na nko. magfarm pako og maayo pra mo gahi kung sa dota pa :P

beeing dependent on framework is a VERY BAD PRACTICE unless your the one who created the framework, but still NOT A GOOD PRACTICE

JQuery usually focuses on the UI part sa imong web applications. It would really help alot if you want your website to look and feel better. Pero you should not rely too much on this specially for data validation. Remember pwede ma bypass ang javascript. and since i-download man ang javascript sa browser naay chance na ma expose kung giunsa nimo pag handle ang mga imong mga data. So never ever rely on solely on javascript for data validation.

P.S.: You also need to to address other server threats nga where in dili applicable ang JQuery. Such as XSite Hacking and the such.

jQuery is not just for Ui it was never made that way thats the reason nga nag release sila ug jquery-ui, jquery is made for easy DOM manipulatio, shortcutting of codes, jquery is similar to prototype and mootools they usually dont like each other but it can be tweaked

about validation always use server sided script, use js if really necessary..

depending too much in jquery is still not a good practice..

in the business' point of view. it's not really a bad practice IMHO. frameworks are created by tons of contributors. many brains is better than one. and leveraging from these frameworks is a good business strategy.

programmers however, need to know the basic fundamental aspects of programming and computer science. else, you'll end up writing shitty software whether you are using frameworks or not. so much more if you're not practicing TDD.

frameworks are just tools for programmers to be "more" productive.
