I passed by Park to have something that my gf bought replaced due to the fit and also to follow up on my VIP card, I chanced upon this brown beauty.... The Nike Blazer low in Leather Baroque Brown upper and wheat soles....

The Blazer is one of the really old school basketball shoes designs that Nike chucked out and slowly started to take over the athletic footwear industry. The design is around 30+ years old and was popularized by George "Iceman" Gervin. Original blazers were made with canvas and later made with Suede and the standard leather

This shoe has been retoed numerous times in numerous colors and configurations yet it easily sells out due to its immense popularity by sneakerheads and not to mention the non collecting public even my brown one was already sold out at my size and almost sold out in sizes smaller and bigger. The most expensive Blazer is the Futura Jedi version

This was only released in 1000 pairs worldwide and was a collaboration of the Artist Futura and Nike and benefits of its sale were donated to the Homeless Coalition. Approx retail prices was 400-500 USD but black market sales can go over that.

What like abouit my blazer is that this was the perfect brown shoe....classic, stylish and not bulky looking. I was intending to get a Brown Nike Legend but this was waaayyy better than that, not to mention this is more unique.

This version came with an extra set of brown shoe laces aside from the standard white one. It also came with arch support nserts that you can easily attach to the insole. This is good for people who have flat feet.

It's an old design yet very cool and very comfortable and this one you can very much easily maintain thanks to the leather. This is available locally at Park but am not sure if they still have sizes.
