Asay duol imo house and guests analogy nga super strict or sa business perspective nga lenient?

again wala koy personal nga kaligotgot nimo. infact I like your style..pero gusto lang ko mo challenge kanang partiha...peace..
Your analogy won't apply. The house analogy is ideal because I DON'T GET PAID to be a mod, like I don't get paid living in a house. But if I were getting paid to say, be a salesperson in a department store, I would perhaps follow "the customer is always right". Your point is in the fact that, perhaps my behavior or attitude would "scare" away clients or customers? If that were true, then going back to the department store analogy, then I'd simply be contacted by "HR" and then perhaps reprimanded or worse, FIRED from my job (and take note that mahitabo ra man sad ni if DAGHAN na kaayo ang complaints, but mangilan-ilan lang naman eh, kasi nga personality clashes lang naman ito, may iba lang dyan na hindi makatiis na may katulad din nilang arogante sa isang board yet they COULDN'T DO DIDDLY ABOUT IT--that's the basic issue right there, and yes, you can't do sh*t about it)...but since again, your analogy suffers from the fact that the arrangement is NOT akin to a department store, then obviously there is NO HR present to fire me, there are only my housemates, and they are the ones who are to decide to evict me or not.

if someone doesnt get paid working , still can be considered a business. see for example the practice of pro bono..Business doesn't always involve compensation in a form of money. In fact In business there are basic forms of ownership and one of that is cooperative. it includes non-profit community organization and volunteer cooperative..

A possibility..again nothing personal..In fact we need you brilliance sa science section..

kaw ra man nag sulti anang department store...what if call center or odesk type..hahahhaa..

then obviously there is NO HR present to fire me, there are only my housemates, and they are the ones who are to decide to evict me or not.
even with or without an HR we can still consider this as a business but in different form. just like cooperative business nga ang imo colleagues maoy maka fire nimo as if tanan board member has an authority of an HR.

Can you call this a house nga tanan tawo sa publiko pwede maka sulod by creating an account..ikaw pasudlon ba nimo ang tanang tawo sa pilipinas sa imong kwarto sa balay (equivalent sa science section) bisan wala ka kaila personally basta dili lang magpa buyag or mag pabadlong? kadakong publiko imo kwarto? again layo kaayo imo analogy sa "house/guest.. the fact nga naay profit from sponsors technically can be considered a business.. diha lang daan di na nimo ma deny....

pwede man gani na ingnon nga ang imo house naay business or doing business..so business gihapon...

Regardless of the analogy used, the issue still stands--if some sponsor of iStorya.net (kanang PROVEN nga nakahatag ug contribution towards the financial and economic well-being and improvement of iStorya.net) sent me a PM asking me to heed the "customer is always right" saying, then perhaps I will first direct that to the other mods and the admins, and if the admins and mods decide that I should follow that saying, then I shall follow suit. So far, wala pa'y sponsor diri nga nag complain sa akong attitude diri, mga individuals (guests) lang who think they can be arrogant because "the customer is always right".

I respect that..pero this is not something to do with the sponsor lang but the whole scenario nga nag exist ang site its because of the posters/guest, admin/mods and the sponsor..mao na nga ang scenario ,is not about the house and guest but definitely a business.dili man siguro nga to the extent nga customer is always right but sa punto nga naay say ang poster kay lagi business man.. Pero I agree sa imo stand nga walay respeto duklon gyud..infact naa sad na sa business, like sa veco consumer nga putlon (ban na dire) ang kuryente kung illegal tapping or etc ug di kabayad..business gihapon no? hahahaha.. again wala koy reklamo nimo personally, sa idea ra ko makig tige. I respect you mod..

Think of it this way. From your perspective, you see a sari-sari store as a business, kay mo adto man ka didto para mopalit ug stuff that you need. So bisan unsaon, you'll see that place as a business. Meanwhile, think of me as the son of the tag-iya sa sari-sari store, who lives in a dorm kay nag skwela in another city, but from time to time mobisita sa business sa iyang papa. Naturally from my perspective, aware ko nga part of our house is a business, and whatever I do nga maka-insult perhaps sa mga buyers sa store, maka-affect sa business. But, bisan unsaon pod nimo, I still see the place as my home, and thus, you cannot dictate or control how I behave there because I live there--ang batasan nako, batasan na na nako. So you can go on with your business analogy viewpoint, because that's your only viewpoint--you do not live in the house (you're not a mod). Of course you will say/think, "But if I were you, and I was living in that store/house, I'd be more cautious and nice, and apologetic...", but again, see, I'm NOT you...I'm me.

In real life, I currently live in a house I do not own. But this fact doesn't mean that I can't kick out anyone I don't like. It's the same with iStorya.net--I CAN kick out anyone I don't like, and if you've got a problem with that, talk to dad.
