Guidelines, Tips & Other Important Issues

I disagree with a moderator or a moderator is abusing his/her powers! Who do I talk to?

First and foremost, make sure you are absolutely sure about where you stand. Admins and other moderators will always side with fellow moderators in a he said/she said contest. The best way to resolve an issue is to PM a moderator and explain your side. It is best to do so politely. Taking a fight privately is not going to get you anywhere. If you cannot resolve your problem, PM BeoR and he will decide what should be done.

Just ignore their posts kung biklan ka sa mod . Maski mag PM2x pa ka sa mga admins kay mo sang-at ug reklamo , mao ra gihapon laban gihapon sila sa mod kay after all barkada ug kaliwat ra ni sila .

This paints mods and admins in a rather unfair light--if you use the analogy that iStorya.net is a HOUSE, and that the admins and mods are the HOUSE OWNERS and OCCUPANTS, and the posters are the GUESTS of the house, buang man sad siguro if dili manlaban ang mga ADMINS/MODS sa each other, nga sila man kaha ang occupants and owners of the house. Therefore, GUESTS should behave as GUESTS, and be mindful of the moods and quirks of the ADMINS/MODS of the house if they don't want to be kicked out. Simple as that.

Hehehe. As a guest, it is impolite to argue with your host.

Pero di man jud nato na malikayan.. naa man jud usahay mga moderators abusive ra kaayo sa ila powers..
About sa laban laban siyempre ang dapat labanan ang insakto dili kai ang kaliwat (bisag owner pa na siya sa house).

I don't have a problem with that , the TS does . I'm just saying that just ignore a mod's post if it contains "bikil" or personal attacks to avoid having heated conversation and get an infraction , muted , and worst banned as a result . I've seen that many times here . Anyways there are still other forumers here would be happy to have a healthy discussion without shoving their opinions down to your throat if happens both have different stance .

Well then there's no point of sharing your stance and participate on debates on specific issues here in this fine forum because it may come across as "impolite to argue with your host" .

I beg to differ. There is actually a way to express your differing views in a private party without offending your host--and this, is how we measure how cultured and mature a person is in his manner of discourse--if he is rough, he will be dealt with roughly, if he is refined, an equal amount of tolerance and restraint will be offered unto him. Check the archives of iStorya.net, and you'll see examples of what I mean.

In other words, if you want shine, IMPRESS your host, and you just might earn yourself a standing ovation--if you however just SHOUT or GO STARK RAVING MAD at him, you know what's coming for you.
