Well I know some companies nga i reimburse nla if mka pasar ka, to make sure nga dili lang nmo usikan nag opportunity nga ila hatag sa imo. For my current employer, they are engaged in consulting, they provide work force for certain projects/clients. So if naa cla consultants nga certified mas dako ila change nga makuha ila consultants and they can charge a good price for that consultant. For the consultant's side it's a chance to take those kind of certification for free and for career growth, plus increase in salary pa gyod! heheh

Of course these certifications can't always be the basis for employment but it's a plus.

Yup I agree with you Mark..then gamit sad gyud ni ang cert. sa mga entry level applicants lahi man gud if your just big mounting something that your good at example Java.. mas maayo naa ka certifications to prove to..
