If we're talking spyware only, Spyware Doctor is much, much more superior.

Kung antivirus, I think Bitdefender is currently tops.

Norton, maybe if you think security suite.

Useless, useless I say (thunder and lightning)

Defender was one of the best when it was still Giant Antispyware. Now it can't even remove adware I can see for myself, particularly that NSMedia thingy.

If you want to choose from the free flavors, Lavasoft or Spybot.

But money is well spent on Spyware Doctor.
