Blue Screen of Death w/ IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL!

Old ASUS board socket 478 modeled P4XP-X. I have reformatted it 5 times already. I have tried full updated it from microsoft site with all the hot fixes but still the problem occurred. Tried also not updating the OS from microsoft site but still got no luck. I have changed the memory from PC400 to PC2700 but still it didnt helped. Fitted also a new 80-pin IDE cable but still didnt worked out. Its the blue screen of death with the message "IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL". Anyone encountered and solved this problem? Tabang mga pre.

if you know how to use the "debug program" that can be found on dell website download it and use it..it will erase the MBR partition on you hard drive..if it won't work still you may need to flash your bios..

sad to say i dont know how to use debugging program but i have flashed its bios to the lastest just now but unfortunately, it didnt helped out..problem is still alive

sir nabuang nasad ko ani nga problima. sa tumang pagresearch nako, ako nahibaw-an kay daghan kaayo ni posibilidad. sa akong kaso, ang akong RAM nga PC333 raman cguro to unya akong board kay ECS A-939 man cguro. murag dili cla kompatible kunohay bah. pag-elis nako ug PC400 nga ram, buyag wala na gyud problima.

hehe, sakto ka, makabuang ni nga problema kay daghan possibilities. pwede ram, mobo, power supply, drivers, processor, damaged LSP, plug-in program, BIOS, and PCI card. anyway, mine is fixed now, the cuprit was the Yahoo Toolbar in IE. sa kang Earlz, na experienced niya kay ang PCI card ang culprit. had the exact same error when i installed an audigy sound card. initially thought it was my dvd software. problem disappeared after reinstalling the sound card driver.

reset your BIOS settings.....LOAD DEFAULTS. check your IDE cables pud.

make sure to load your whole BIOS setup to defaults.

try using 40pin cable muna. if okay na, try using your 80pin cable
