3rd Cebu Dog Agility National Competition Photo Contest
Photo Contest Rules and Guidelines
1. The photography contest is open to all amateur and professional photographers who have registered for the contest. There must be at least twelve (12) duly registered participants for the photo contest to be valid, otherwise it shall be declared as a no contest.
2. Pre-registration starts on ***May 3, 2012 until May 10, 2012 at Macy's Camera Shop, AS Fortuna Mandaue City or at PRG Photo Shop, Baseline Center, Cebu City
3. The registration fee is ONE HUNDRED PESOS (P100).
4. A maximum of Ten (10) photos may be submitted by each registrant. Excess photos shall be charged at an additional fee of P5.00 each. Only 10 excess photos are allowed. All photos should be taken during the 3rd Cebu Dog Agility National Competition on May 12-13, 2012 at the IT Park, Lahug, Cebu City.
Contest Guidelines:
a. The general theme for the photo contest is “Dog and Trainer in action”
b. All entries must be candid.
c. The issued Photo Contest ID must be worn to enter the playing field. Once inside the playing field, the photographer shall not be allowed to transfer location once a dog has entered the field. Changing location/places shall be done only during interval before and after the start of the routine. Flash shall not be used during the shoot.
d. Images submitted must be in full color; Composite images and digital alteration like adding/removing of any part of the image is disallowed. Post processing should be limited only to cropping and global settings.
e. Final entries shall be submitted in a un-mounted 4”x6” Photo Print with or without borders, with the photographer’s ID number indicated at the back of the photo. The high resolution JPEG file (edited file) of the image/s in CD format with the name of the photographer on the CD is to be submitted together with the entries in a sealed envelope bearing the name of the photographer on the upper left corner. Submitted entries must be taken on the days of the event. Failure to comply will result in disqualification of said entry.

5. Deadline for submission of entries will be on May 16, 2012 at 7:00 pm. Submit it at either Macy's Camera Shop or at PRG Photo Shop.
6. Judging will be on May 19, 2012.
7. Awarding is tentatively set on May 22, 2012.
8. Identifying marks, signs and address to insinuate information of ownership is strictly prohibited on the photo entry.
9. By joining this contest, all entries and finalists agree that the royalty of the photographer shall not apply every time the Philippine Dog Athletic Association and BetterDog Canine Behavior Center will use the photos and grants the same royalty-free, world-wide, exclusive license to display and reproduce the photo/s for promotional purposes. Rights to all the entries shall belong exclusively to the Philippine Dog Athletic Association and BetterDog Canine Behavior Center. The photographer may not use the photographs or variation of that same composition for any other purpose except for his personal portfolio. Photographers will be given photo credits every time applicable.
