Gamiti ug flubber imo car pra molupad.
sooner or later...cars will be flying...
This is such an amazing Technology unta BUT:
It is highly unlikely that their will be flying cars in the near future, for multiple reasons. The creation of a flying vehicle that is affordable and can take off and land in an urban space is definitely doable with our current technological know how and has been since the 1960's however to do so in a matter that is reliable enough for most people to accept and isn't a nuisance on a noise and pollution scale isn't and is likely to stay that way for the foreseeable future. Secondly most people have a hard enough time controlling a vehicle in two dimensions let alone 3 and the safety and well being of people who are not in an air car when it isn't confined to a road isn't socially acceptable. On a third front you run into the matter of efficiency of scale, a four to eight passenger aircar isn't efficient, you are having to life the mass of navigation and safety equipment for those people, while with a 150 passenger airliner you can divide the cost of the navigation equipment over a much wider number of people. Finally with the momentum of government regulation providing a huge problem, making it meet pollution and safety standards for cars while still meeting FAA guidelines for a passenger carrying air vehicle is a huge impediment. It would be much more productive to worry about cheap fast sub orbital flights from companies like virgin galactic in the next couple of decades making intercontinental travel a matter of a few hours and comparatively inexpensive so that your family can come and visit on a long weekend for a holiday of site seeing and staying at your flat for free...
