mao jud.....
OT: janitor fishes have angelina jolie lips. no offense to angelina jolie.
naa mi isda.... kanang naa sa aquarium........ And I think they are Karps
@FK....i take the fishes out first and take out half of the water and set it aside. after cleaning it up and emptied the rest of the water left i put back half of the water that's set aside and add fresh water to fill the tank then pour a water treatment. then change the filter. It probably takes about 30-45 minutes to get the cleaning done. I do this once a month.@lindsay: gi onsa nimo pag clean the tank? do you do 100% water change
it's not recommended to 100% change the water coz chances are the fishes would die sooner but that's just what i heared. I'm not sure if it's true or not coz I never tried it.
Here's another tip. To avoid cleaning your tank often, put it away from any windows, away from the sun. Make sure the the bulbs for lightning in the tank is not more than 10 watts.
@lindsay
* don't take your fishes out everytime you do water change.
* put water treatment first before filling up the tank with fresh water (labi ng gikan sa MCWD).
@fk..thanks...luckily wa ko sa cebu...
@lindsay: mas ma-stress ang isda (arte ani nila oi )
mao sab gani na ako gibuhat sa una... then base sa imo gibuhat mura 30% change ra man jud nahitabo. Gagamit ka og syphon?
Pwede ra 30% imo kuhaon tubig dayon. Dayon pun-an na lang dayon nimo og tubig nga naa nay treatment.
I also once had a lot Isda jud at home; that was when i was in college kay naa may mapalitan nga barato nga mga isda diha sa Magallanes St.
I had giant swordtails, goldfish, rossy barbs, guppies, zebra, and carp. Most of it, napadaghan jud nako. When i got married, i left them at my mother's house and enthrusted them to my younger brother. Sadly, they all died under my brother's care.
Now, im planning to have Fish nasad at home. Ang ganahan jud nako are the "Hi-Finned Zebras". I liked this one kay magsige lang og langoy, paspas pa jud kaayo, and graceful sad kaayo. Malingaw jud akong mga kids ani. Unlike the Goldfish, ang mga Zebra dili lisod atimanon. He-he-he!
FK! Naa kay Hi-Finned Zebra diha?! Papalita ko beh? One pair lang usa. Ako nala'y bahala'g pasanay ana.
wala ko bai. cichlid ra ako gi atiman... dayon gamay ra kay gamay ra ako tank.
mura maglisud ka ana sa magallanes. Last nako nahibaw-an naa aning hi-finned zebras, katong naa sa Punta Princessa Labangon, kato padulong sa buhisan nga dalan. mangayo ko sketch bai, ambot lang sab kaha naa pa ba sila.
abtik bitaw kaau ning zebra... manglayat gud ni og fish pan.
Cyclids?!? They will attack the belly part of the other fishes. Just be warned lang bai.
About the Zebras,... sige lang. Taga-Lacion man god ko.
Pero kung naa na unya ka ani, PM me. I will buy jud from you.
