At long last the official mailing list for cebu's premiere reggae
export is now up and running. To join simply send a blank email to
Jr_Kilat-subscribe@yahoogroups.com or simply go to the url

Jr. Kilat, the country's fastest rising dub/dancehall/roots reggae
act will soon be releasing it's first full-length studio album this
coming February, 2005. Titled "Party Pipol Ur On Dub TV", this Galaxy
Records release features 12 uniquely creative ditties, among them the
studio versions of "lansiao" and "hala suyop", which were previously
released under the live album "Live: Cge Bye". The album also
includes a dvd containing snippets of the groups gigs all over the
country as well "live" recordings of previous songs.

Jr. K's bouncy ska-inspired first single, "M-16" will be hitting the
airwaves by March, 2005.

hey y'all!!

a little birdie named budoy told me that "M-16", the video, will make
it's debut on cebu cable television this coming wednesday, March 23
2005 at RCTV Channel 36!! Stay glued to your tv sets!!!! For sigbins
outside cebu, you don't have to worry coz according to budoy, the
same video will be hitting MYX and MTV within the next couple of
weeks!!! The band is eternally grateful for all the support they have
been receiving from all you guys.. Don't forget to log on to
www.juniorkilat.com for updates or check the mailing list from time
to time..

Lastly, as of last week, "M-16" made it to no. 7 on NU107's midnight
countdown, it actually jumped five places from the week before
that!!! Keep the votes coming so that junior kilat will be playing in
your area much, much sooner!@!!

hey, for JR kilat gig updates, check out www.juniorkilat.com, you can be connected right away to their friendster/myspace account, yahoomusic groups, as well as the latest info on the group... you can also find the latest pictures that they shot while shooting the m-16 music video... You can also find a junior kilat forum where your questions can be answered by the band members themselves!!!
