"The recent defacements occurred on certain Chinese websites were just a simple response to what happened to the UP site. You may continue bullying our country's waters but we will not tolerate you from intimidating our own cyber shores," said a message left by Filipino hackers on some of the websites they defaced.

"Those defacements are just a mere response to what you have initially started. We are not trying to start anything. We are just trying to tell you that we do not want to be bullied in our own cyberspace too," the message added.

the UP website was not attacked by chinese hackers
they were attacked by filipino militant hackers paid by Chinese (communist) front organizations.
they are most probably from UP also.

you are right. they do not have the motives.
but hackers from militant groups from UP would like us to believe that Chinese hackers are doing it.
I think they should investigate on this.

    - arrival/ departure records sa airports.
di ka kapa-enroll kay wala tay school records.
ug daghan pang uban nga pwede mahitabo if naay DDoS attack.

Lisod kaayo ning DDoS kay maglisod man ang usa ka website mo detect ani nga attack kay daghan man IP addresses maggikan ang atake. If a botnet consist of 10000 computers, unsaon man ni pagsagang.
Mao nay gi ingun bro... Pull the plug. hehe..

Ang gipang DDoS kay kadaghanan mga HTML pages man.
Dili pani kaayo serious nga atake.

But declaring Cyber war is like declaring conventional war. It is much worse than conventional warfare and almost akin to guerilla warfare.
I hope both parties will realize that this is not good for both R.P and China.
