Tony Stark / Iron Man
A billionaire ladies man, genius and a remarkable engineer, Tony Stark suffered a life-threatening chest injury when he was abducted and forced to build a weapon of mass destruction. To prevent a piece of shrapnel from entering his heart, his prison mate created a magnet that attaches on his chest. Later, Stark would upgrade the magnet as a power source to power his armored suits. Stark would develop many weapons and other technologies for S.H.I.E.L.D.
Steve Rodgers / Captain America
Captain America, who's real name is Steve Rogers, was a puny, weak young man, would was given a chance to defend his country by participating in an experimental research. The "Super-Soldier" serum granted Steve Rogers, enhanced strength, speed, endurance, agility, and slowed aging. He embraced the Captain America uniform and wields an indestructible shield that he throws as a weapon and protects him from bullets.
Dr. Bruce Banner / Hulk
The Hulk emerged when Dr. Bruce Banner was accidentally exposed to a blast of gamma rays from a bomb he created. When Dr. Banner becomes angry or emotionally excited, we would involuntarily transform into his alter ego, The Hulk, a giant green monster with incredible strength and agility. He would prove an valuable and invaluable ally for The Avengers, as long as The Hulk was on their side.
Thor
Thor was banished to Earth by his father, Odin, to teach him humility and compassion. Thor walked the Earth without any power or memories of his past life. He eventually regained his memory and retrieved his hammer known as Mjolnir, that ultimately transformed his into the God of Thunder. Thor is almost immortal, has super-human strength and can time travel.
Clinton "Clint" Francis Barton / Hawkeye
A S.H.I.E.L.D. agent and expert archer, Clint embraced his archery skills to become a star attraction in a carnival, called Hawkeye. Hawkeye was also known as "The World's Greatest Marksman". He possesses uncanny archery, fencing and acrobatic skills. Later he would be trained by Captain America in hand to hand combat and martial arts.
Natasha Romanoff / Black Widow
Natasha Romanoff, aka Black Widow is a highly trained spy for S.H.I.E.L.D. She is a remarkable athlete, gymnast, martial artist, marksman and weapons specialist. Black Widow has been enhanced by an experimental biotechnology which granted her to heal rapidly, resist diseases & slow aging.
Nicolas Joseph / Nick Fury
Nick Fury is the director of S.H.I.E.L.D. and created The Avengers. He had access to the Infinity Formula which slowed down his aging and prolonged his life span. He is a war veteran having been in World War II, Korean War & Vietnam Conflict. Nick Fury injured his left eye from a grenade blast in World War II and covers it to prevent depth perception distortion. He is an expert in armed and unarmed combat, and uses a variety of advanced weaponry & equipment created by his S.H.I.E.L.D. technicians.
