I just watched The Thin Red Line after I stumbled on a site that has "Top 100 war movies list"

I was quite curious what the movie is all about. After checking some reviews it has good results.

So I decided to watch it & invited some friends to watch as well in my place.

Almost an hour of the movie there is no gun being fired. All were just talking like a "JUDAY" drama.

For 3 long hours i was in pain watching the movie and i clearly see my friend's face in disgust.

kung ang importante para nmo kay ang fight scenes sa movie, boringan gyud ka sa mga movies na dghan ug tabi. naa man mga movies na ang importante kay ang conversation sa characters.

Hahaha... You don't put on a Malick film and invite your friends over thinking that it's a popcorn flick!

I think The Thin Red Line is one of the most fascinating movies to come out in current years.

I'm struggling to finish Sherlock Holmes 2: A Game of Shadows I find the repetitive scenes so unnecessary and the un-engaging dialogue (and it has a lot!) and crappy plotline are throwing me off. After two attempts I'm still at 45 minutes into the film. With all it's flashy editing and period piece production set and design and I don't know what else but I found it boring. Will definitely finish it.

Yep, all you need to know about The Thin Red Line is that its a Terrence Malick movie. Plus war movies doesn't automatically mean "in combat". Shindler's List is considered a war movie and I don't remember any fighting in the movie. The latest boring movie I've seen has been J. Edgar.
