A Nicholas Sparks Novel, starring Zac Efron as Logan and Taylor Schilling as Beth.
Directed by Scott Hicks
Movie Review
US Marine Logan Thibault (Zac Efron), comes home from duty in Iraq, taking with him the one thing that`s keeping him alive. Determined to look for the girl in the photo, Beth (Taylor Schilling), he soon finds her, shows up on her door step and ends up taking a job at their family run local kennel. Despite the complication in Beth`s life, she welcomes Logan in her life and can`t avoid the romance that developed between them, giving Logan hope that Beth could be more than just his lucky charm.
The premier of this movie was showed last night at Rockwell and I was lucky enough to be there. I`ve been dying to see this movie ever since I saw the trailer. Every Zac Efron movie is most definitely a must watch, I think everyone knows that.
The Lucky One though, for me, showed a different side of Zac. Not just cause it`s like he`s played every role he could ever play and not thinking he`d be a marine, this just proves that Zac is flexible enough to play any character he wants to. It also showed that he was really in character as a marine. In articles i`ve read, Zac also talked about his progression toward more serious roles, how he transformed himself physically for the role (a marine) which I think suite him so much! Im not so sure when this will be showing in Cinemas but I highly recommend you guys to watch it! You will not only fall more in love with Zac, but you will also see how much of a good actor he already is. Don`t miss it and tell me what you think!
