assuming this was pulmonary tb (lungs) he/she/it is contagious by close contact. it is not spread by sexual contact but it is spread through air (coughing and touching). if you are close enough for *** then he/she/it is probably breathing on you and you're prolly touching his/her/its hands which he/she/it has coughed on. Ask the doctor to find out whether he/she/it is still contagious.

IMO lang unya I have no medical training whatsoever.

TB is some sort of complication and time also is a variable for this.
So you will notice that you might get sick, but dili sad to the point nga mahimo og TB diretso.
So just keep yourself healthy and you are good to go.
