Based on the five-year performance in the Physician Licensure Examinations from 2007-2011 among medical schools in the country, Cebu Institute of Medicine (CIM) ranked first with an average passing percentage of 99.7%. This was revealed during the recent Association of Philippine Medical Colleges (APMAC) Convention held in Cebu City last February 9-11, 2012.
Also in the latest physician licensure exams (February 2012) in which all examinees from CIM passed and the national passing percentage is 52.53, a CIM alumni placed second.
Jon Karl D. Velasco is the latest CIM graduate to join the roster of CIM Board Topnotchers through the years.
