The rocket failed...and the lives of our small fisherfolks living on the area that supposedly affected are back again. Thank God... but how about this one?

India set to test new Agni V missile next week - India News - IBNLive (kindly click this)

How does the world react on this matter? (Try to research also Pakistan and as well as Israel's nuke developments, firing tests and their long range missiles) The world must not focus on a single "Nuke" country where there were countries that are already having them. I hope people will unite and have a free nuke world.

"Initial indications are that the first stage of the missile fell into the sea 165km (105 miles) west of Seoul, South Korea," the North American Aerospace Defense Command (Norad) said in a statement.

"The remaining stages were assessed to have failed and no debris fell on land. At no time were the missile or the resultant debris a threat."

    Japan reported similar details.

"At approximately 07:40 we confirmed that a certain flying object was launched from North Korea and fell after flying for just over a minute," Japanese Defence Minister Naoki Tanaka said.

South Korea said the rocket exploded into some 20 pieces and fell into the sea.

I actually think that the nuclear deterrent possessed by civilized countries has kept the world free from major conflict for a great many years now. Mutually assured destruction has very likely kept WW3 from becoming a reality. However we have in my opinion reached a critical point as Islamic countries want their own nuclear arsenals. These countries often put their religious beliefs ahead of logic and in the case of Pakistan cannot even stabilize their own internal situation because of religious zealots who frequently infiltrate positions of power and influence.

I agree to it reptoid, but what made me think of it a bit is...I believe in that history repeats itself, and when it comes back it brings bigger impact good or bad. I am not praying that WW3 will knock on our doorstep but seems the world economy right now is having some kind of a friction, and what made this friction might bring is not a good outcome to us earthlings.
We cannot prevent this hungry for power countries to expand their ability and strength, but what if they are out of prey? Then I considered their arsenal that might be unleashed when things won't go nice...

Then us, the third worlds are just still here...watching their show.

    ARE YOU SURE WITH THIS?

You know when I came across this kind of comment I can’t help myself to think how in this world a so-called civilized countries claimed to possessed the morals of having their own nuclear weapons were unhesitatingly unleashed their weapons of mass destruction in the like of Nagasaki, Hiroshima, Vietnam and in Palestine and with great disregard of human rights imposed their hegemonic policy to helpless countries just to exploit their natural resources. And here you are accusing Islamic countries wanting to have their own nuclear arsenals? Whew! I only know one just Pakistan but they are under the mercy of hegemonic power of America and in fact they are the one who supplied and help them in this nuclear technology. So please, stop acting like you have the morals to impose your own thoughts with regards to religious beliefs.

You only know one?... Pakistan and Iran are both frequently in the news; both countries are hugely problematic for the rest of the world.

America did not unhesitatingly (as you put it) unleash atomic weapons on Japan. That course of action was deliberated for a long time and was most definitely not a decision taken lightly.

Pakistan is not at the mercy of America either. In fact I'm puzzled as to why you would think that when it seems very apparent that Pakistan is shamelessly exploiting their geographical significance and playing both sides in the war on terror so as to keep milking that cash cow otherwise known as foreign aid.

"Civilized"..... The stoning of women, child brides, religious intolerance, suppression of basic human rights... these things are not in my view civilized therefore countries which promote such ideals are not civilized.
