I know you guys love your rig very much but how do you guys clean it from dust? Any
personal secrets/methods? kapila ninyo siya e clean etc? pls share.

kani ganahan pd ko makahibaw ani... maluoy jud ko sa akong rig wa pa gani 2 months since nag-clean, hapit na pud malumos sa abog. >.< abog sad kaayo ni among lugar diri gud.

but to answer your question:

believe it or not, some people here wash some parts of their rig.
as in tap-water-plus-soap kind of wash.

actually, you're method is ok.
air flushing, the reverse of vacuum is also ok. use a can of compressed air.

additional tips for cleaning:
-if you will be doing some wiping, use micro fiber cloth.. best if its anti-static to avoid damaging your circuitry. you can opt to use in tandem a cleaning solution also
-if you will be touching bare parts of your rig, discharge your static electricity first. to do that, just grab a metal.
-it is also wise to disassemble your rig completely to clean the parts individually. schedule that twice a year or as often as you like.

tips to maintain cleanliness:
-install fan filters. this is even more important if your rig is placed under the table. vulnerable kaayo sa dust.
-practice housekeeping. dont eat on your computer table. or else mag-suffer ang rig nimo sa hulmigas..
-position your rig away from dust-prone areas such as windows and near doors.. better if you put the CPU on top of the table too.
-avoid clutter. maintain cable management.

I clean my rig every twice a month and i use the same blower that kidlovejeayanne used. i also use a brush with horse hair kay soft siya
