    Angry Nganu man mag "Maam" ug "Sir" ang majority sa mga Pinoy?


    cge naman kog visit ug lain countries but sa pinas rajud cgeg maam/sir

    in other countries even sa work if mo istorya sa mga boss (such as directors, managers, etc) they simply call them by their first name.

    asa kaha ni nakuha nga culture noh? maammmm sssiiirrrrrr..

    It's called culture. In other countries, it is rude to call people by their first name without their consent. Usually it is Mr./Ms./Mrs. then the last name of the person. But if it is a total stranger it is just Mr./Ms. Ma'am/Sir is the more formal way of greeting, mas nindot sa paminawon compared sa Mr./Ms.

    "maam" "sir" sad cguru ilang mga nawng..

    kay mag "miss" mn ku kung "miss" jud ang nawng..

    basta laki kay "bay" kung tan.aw naku ka lvl ra nku.. kung taas pa ganig standards nku, "bossing" jud na..

    "bossing, f*ck you.!" something like that

    it could be from the colonial times. where pinoys address their colonials masters as sir/maam.

    But we are taught only by our teachers to address their fellow teachers as sir/maam.

    I agree, in PH they will address their clients "sir" while in other countries its "mr"/"ms" + family name.

    Actually its not nice to hear, its annoying. Especially the way pagka pronounce as "MUM".
