Some school officials need to wake up and smell the 21st century. Bikinis aren't lewd. Heck, smoking might be bad for you but it's not illegal.

People just need to chill the f out. It's a let go situation. They shouldn't have made a big fuss out of it.

I don't think they need to chill out coz it's 21st century already. Hey, teachings and principles ain't changed.

this is one of the reasons why i moved out of being a christian. because of these unreasonable extremists.

if its about "what youre wearing is suggesting", then it is subjective/objective. kung malisyado kaayo kag utok, then ikaw ang naay problema. with todays' society, bikinis are FAR FROM EXTRA ORDINARY!!
STC sure got a face palm by the judge's ruling. and i cant say im sad for them

Wala pa mahuman ang kaso bai, it is just a TRO. Of course mo pabor jud ang judge, kinsa man sad ganahan dili papasohon sa graduation. Regarding the issue, I don't think STC ang Catholic school nga strict sa ilang provisions. Lately even a Catholic school from Marikina City barred 6 of their students from joining graduation over 'public kissing' which was also posted in facebook.

Lesson is, if you can't apprehend to the schools' regulations, pack yourselves and enrol to another school. Pero kinsa man dili ganahan mo graduate sa usa ka popular school like STC, beh?

Walay mawala sa madre kay mga tao ra man pod na sila but as the people who runs the school , they have all the right to execute , uphold and implement policies that protects the interest and integrity of the institution .

Karon ug base sa accusations na tungod di maka graduate ang girl because of the LEWD PICS ... then wala unta ni skwela ang girl sa STC ... didto unta siya sa UC , UV , CIT , ABELLANA or any school that is not run by Catholic nuns .

Karon based sa links na pod sa news na the contents of the said pictures are LEWD and she is holding a LIGHTED CIGARETTE , tell me ACCEPTABLE ba na for a 16 year old girl. In your right mind lang ha kay daghan ra ba ta diri mo ingon na OPEN MINDED unya bitaw ug mga anak or igsuon na ninyo basin mo lamba lang na kalit ug pagkasara sa mga minds ninyo .

Pictures dont tell everything we could only guess maybe it could be just a stage playholding a beer or cigarette in pics does not mean one is using it, althought we really dont know i take the weight of the mother and the whole family stand on so called morality than what the nuns in stc are barking about.

just because the are priest or nuns they have the moral high ground , remember the issue of condoms and other family planning methods ha bad daw ni sa in bad immoral and you will burn in hell daw.

yeah but but were are in the Republic of the Philippines , weare not Republic of Saint Theresa's College or Christian Republic of the Philippines any polices or rules of any school or institution are subservient to the constitution of the RIP diba if the school policies is a violation of the constition which guarantee are freedoms they should be the one to close not the other way around.

for me a LEWD PICS is a nude pics even those great leanardo nude painting is lewd for me but a two piece bikini is not lewd ,bisan unsa pa mga acrobatics positon.Its how your mind plays on you it's not about being open minded or close minded , liberated or not if you have a dirty mind even burqa or hijab will be illicit for you.

Revisit Student manual doesn't mean amendments. I believe mao ra gihapon ang provisions ila gigamit for years of existence as a Catholic institution. And I don't think something will be changed due to this recent issue.

Maka graduate man sila maam in contrary to what was known by most people here, gi barred ra man sila sa graduation rites. A justifiable sanction than expulsion from school. You know the feeling of being expelled, you will not be accepted in another Catholic schools and your good morals will be tarnished.

It is not impossible that your private photos maybe shared to your friend's friends who are not your fb friends. Example is through tagging photos.

Tagging can also be controlled by the user--it's only a matter of knowing how. But point taken--maybe that particular teen just didn't know how to control tagging.

But kung ang fat ug ugly kaha ang nakabikini, mao sad ba kaha ang sanction? Hahaha

I was referring to the teen who (might have) reported the photo to the school admin, not the one caught wearing a bikini in FB hehe. But it's an interesting point--but I think, regardless of body build, a teen in a bikini (well, at least according to the rules of this school) is subject to certain sanctions.

Right, it can be controlled and there's a privacy feature for that. People think man gud nga everything posted is restricted lang sa imong fb friends. That wouldn't be case all the time.

Uso na karon mga kaso due to something posted in facebook. People should start to wary. Check your privacy settings, at least.
