Hi Istoryans!

I am planning to breed a guinea pig. So I'd like to ask which is better a metal cage or an aquarium? I had a guinea pig pair a few years back , if I'm not mistaken it would be the short hair I bought the pair in SM. It lived for about 6 years or so and in its life span the sow had 2 chances of giving birth the first time was the pups were eaten by the house rats as huge as a kitten. That happened because I was still unable to recognize that she was pregnant. The second time was when the so got bigger we prepared a cloth where she could stay and give birth but still it was unsuccessful because the pups still died. Do you know what I did wrong? Thanks

well definitely not an aquarium since the ventilation is not so nice. well you could try do some research on the web or try asking around on things you are not sure of. you need to be atleast more specific with your question.
