Why would they say it was a "family-related outing" if it wasn't a family related outing? If it was, indeed, a family related outing, then her family would have known about her behavior and should have had the ability to judge whether or not her actions were considered "lewd". To say that her parents and family is not involved in this issue would be an insult to them and their judgment of morality. To say that her parents and family's judgment should be below that of the school's judgment (when in fact the event took place outside the school's campus and within a "family-related outing") would also be an insult to them and their judgment of morality as well.
Last time i check from post number 1 of page 1 ... it states :
She also said the photos were anything but obscene. These were taken during a birthday party in January held in Lapu-Lapu City. The occasion was “a private social activity” and did not involve the school’s supervision and control, the petitioner said.
That is because when we make threads , it should be supported tio the least , a link and that was the source of the discussion here unless naa daghan links inyong gusto pa i add to avoid confusion .
If I hang out with my cousins , that is still FAMILY ORIENTED and my parents doesnt have to be there . The point is , news can manipulate words . Unless the media was only making up stories that she was holding a lighted cigarette when in fact ballpen ra man diay to . Tell me unsay naka sakto sa isa ka 16 year old girl who comes from a well to do family assumingly kay physician iyahang father and studies in a Catholic private school ? Maybe kung nasakpan siya , pwede pa siya mo undergo ug counseling yet it was a picture that was broadcasted publicly though FB .
I agree. Students should be careful not bring shame to their school's name. But unless we see that picture, we'll never really grasp the true nature of this issue. Just sayin' that based on the information that we have now, I think the school admin has a lot of explaining to do.
And so does the parents of the girl who allowed this to happen if indeed man gani na tinuod to na " FAMILY ORIENTED " . It might not be a crime for them but the values being upheld and looked upon by the society .
