i thought lang nga the minimum wage law was to protect our fellow pinoys from those employers who only thought on themselves and not there employees.. yet your idea is, the minimum wage is good but there are side effects sah balaod.

the abolishment suggestion is i think not really that realistic since kadaghanan sah atong negosyante ginansya ang gi apas..

imbes mag bonus ta ug once a year dapat, every month naay bonus.

kada december, mura na pud ug nag hyperwage ta...daghan halin ang mga tindahan, ang mga tawo wala naghunahuna ug savings anang panahona. lol

para tingali ma materialize ning hyperwage, reduce 50percent all taxes that are directly applied to salaried workers/wage earners monthly pay and himuong 12months ang bonus.

All businessmen are like that anywhere in the world. Minimum wage is inflationary and distorts the job market. Because of the minimum wage, some college grads are now earning the same salary as a high school drop out, but they had to study hard for four years and pay tuition. Is that fair?

Uyon ko aning hyperwage.....i agree nga kung mas dakog Buying capacity ang Filipino People.....mas modako ang halin sa mga Company....

High Income = High Buying Capacity = More Sales For Companies = More Profit for Investors

Its a win win situation...i hope it will be recognized....hehe

But we should never increase the minimum wage to 20,000 pesos immediately because it would trigger hyperinflation and many businesses especially small and medium will going to close immediately which means job destruction not creation.

In fact, the government should not have a right to increase the salary arbitrarily according to the wishes of a particular interests against the another interests. Let the forces of supply and demand to determine how much salary going to increase.

apparently not a win win.. remember pork barrels goes to building schools. buying books. asphalting roads. and many more. so without that just to have an artificial "big salary" is no deal.. anyway, the hyperwage theory is radical indeed. but we need alot of fund as to not drain the treasury.

The author did mention that the increase should not be done on a one time basis.
It should be a steady increase leading up to 20,000 php in a span of 5 to 10 years.
Though I just finished reading chapter 7, I think this will work exceptionally in closed systems.
Meaning, this has great potential to work in a small experimental group.

Otherwise, I think this won't happen anytime soon, unless the people in general starts to think for others.
We are so good already with starting with ourselves, that is why the private sector is succeeding.
But it is time to start working as a team, something along the lines of, "Let's become millionaires together".
