For me its Chong Hua and Perpetual...

Cebu Doctors? My family had a not so good experience with them.

Like two or three years ago, my brother fell on the bed upon waking up. He couldn't move his whole body...Wala jud siyay umoy atong panahuna...So we rushed him to Cebu Doc, sa ER. Then the usual, gi ask mi what happened to him. Mao to explain pud ko nga pag mata niya, nahagbong siya sa bed and that after ana, dili na siya maka lihok. Ang gi buhat sa doctor ato (murag intern pa man guro to siya) nag order ra siya to have an x-ray sa akong kuya. And ilang gi butangan ug neck brace (or whatever they call it). We waited for the result, it was okay... So they adviced us that we should go home and come back if naay changes... Wala man lang basic laboratory tests ilang gi buhat sa akong kuya. So kami pud, we went home... Pero na worse man ang condition sa akong Kuya, so we decided to bring him to Perpetual instead. There they interviewed us, and gi undergo ako kuya ug mga tests.

It was then found out that he was having Hypokalemia, low Potassium in his body, kay he has Hyperthyroidism...If amo to gi take ang advice sa taga Cebu Doc, my Kuya could have died, as Hypokalemia affects the muslces of the body... Which in severe cases stops the heart from beating, as the heart is also a muscle...

Ka remember ka sa name sa doctor? Maka ingon ku na ni drtsu ra sha ug pa xray dayon ky nahagbong man imu kuya sa bed and sakto ka na wala basic lab tests na mao man jud na dapat initial na buhaton, negligent jud to iya k buhat... K ingnan nimu ang doctor about sa history sa imu kuya na naay hyperthyroidism?

geez, it sad to have read this post. Never thought such hospital could miss the right diagnosis. Wala bita nila gibuhat ang routine lab test which is "routine" so protocol najud. bangaa oie. puryagaba. Gladly na correct ra ang hypokalemia sa imo kuya. Gipatake siguro na siya ug kalium durule or Potassium via IV.
