    try to listen the sound of your cpu kung naa bay gakala2x...specifically the 160Gb kung mgakala2x aq problemado najud na...
    If i were you, mas ok, iSEt nimo as primary HDD ang 160Gb ky 80Gb na IDE...mas fast ang process kung nkaset ang SATA HDD... try mo!

    Have you checked the sata cables / sata power adaptors on your harddisk? Try diagnose one by one. Others suggest here to use Hard Disk Sentinel program to check status of your harddisk. Please let us know the result.

    basin ang cable sa imong IDE nka slave. mag libog ra ba na ang mobo ana. also if nka set sa bios katong disable for windows xp.

    Have you tried removing/replacing your 80GB HD? Or have you tried setting your 160GB as primary and the other as secondary?
    ahm sir ako nabantayan.. mo hadjong ang 160gb mo gap lang guro ug 1-2secs iyang hadjong...
