if low on budget, pwede ka mgkawt sa yuta (1-3ft) kalowmon then tabunan nimo ug good quality na trapal. secure nimo ang mga tumoy sa trapal ug big rocks and put the pump and filter. then naa nka koi pond. (sugestion lang ni if low on budget) mga < 10k magasto ani.

Maski unsa nga feeders sir, pwede maka transmit ug sakit sa Isda nimo, in your case, I can't think of any alternative, considering that you have a Tarpon ( silver scale ) which is strictly carnivorous and are rarely trained to eat pellets. It's a fact that the feeders in Manalili are carriers of diseases, but you can actually do something to make sure that disease transmission is prevented:

*Buy feeder fish at an earlier time, the earlier you buy them, the less time they'll spend in that small plastic, the less stress.
*Check for signs of diseases like Clamped and Cloudy fins, wiggling movements and very thin.
*Buy them on Sundays, kay daghan mamaligya ug feeders kung Sunday, so makapili ka ug healthy.
*Place them in a container with enough swimming space, making sure that it's not too crowded.
*Add Salt ( 1 teaspoon per gallon ) in the water and make sure it's conditioned with anti chlorine, or at least bahaw ang tubig.

note: Salt is generally good for most freshwater fish except to some catfish and other scaleless species (but never add the same amount of salt that I specified above for the feeders to your other fish). Livebearers like the feeders in Manalili are considered as Brackish water fish, so they'll do well in Brackish water and are likely to recover from stress and combat common diseases.

mas maayo gyud unta kon naay portable nga stove bisan ug pag-init lang sa tubig. mas preferable man gud nga kanang atong linuto (kun kamao moluto) kay sa mopalit ta ug pagkaon diha sa daplin.

    Take note:
Trekking on Saturday and Sunday, March 24 -25, 2011
Assembly Area at McDonalds Fuente on Saturday early morning
    Departure time is 4:00 AM
Breakfast would be most likely in Barili or Moalboal.
First dip sa sapa kay adto sa Kawasan, then explore Alegria and Malabuyoc ug apil na pud ang Ginatilan.
Mas maayo seguro exploration on first day then collection on the second day.

Finally to trekkers see you there and do not forget also the tents and flashlights

Live feeders a.k.a kataba/guppy do not provide enough nutrients for fish. You can use them as a treat but I suggest you try feeding them with high protein food. And each type of fish has their own diet, goldfish and koi can be fed cabbages and carrots, oscars and pacu can be fed with frozen bloodworms...
