Default Cooler Master gets back into the watercooling business with Eisberg range Read more:

It's been quite a few years since we last saw a watercooling solution in retail from Cooler Master, despite the company demoing various solutions over the past two years at all the major trade shows. Now the company has finally decided to make a return to the watercooling business, initially in Europe only with its new Eisberg series of coolers.

The pump is actually made by German Eheim which normally produces pumps for aquariums and it features ceramic bearings which suggest that it should have a long life span. Unlike sealed unit watercoolers from its competitors, Cooler Master has allowed for the liquid to be topped up and the pump contains a small reservoir unlike many competing solutions. The tubing is of a softer more flexible type than used by Asetek, but Cooler Master has fitted metal coils to the outside of the hoses that increases the rigidity of the hoses.

Initially Cooler Master will be offering two different SKUs, the Eisberg 120 which should retail at around Initially Cooler Master will be offering two different SKUs, the Eisberg 120 which should retail at around €120 that takes a single 120mm fan and the Eisberg 240 which will retail for around €140 and feature a larger dual fan radiator for a pair of 120mm fans.

Cooler Master isn't likely to launch the Eisberg series in the APAC region but the company is working on a different solution for the APAC market that we sadly can't write about at the moment, but it's based on what Cooler Master showed off at Computex last year. We don't know when this solution will launch, but it's being evaluated by Cooler Master for a not too distant launch as far as we're aware.
