it's more polluted in the philippines
it's more corrupt in the philippines
it's more inefficient in its government offices
it's more crowded now at NBI --wa pa gihapon nasulbad ang taas nga linya..mangadlawn daw ang ubang tawo
it's more delayed now at SSS -- 2 years bago makuha imong UMID
it's more stressful now in jeepneys -- ipasok jud mo tanan pasahero sa kondoktor nga rude pa kaayu
it's more congested now in the streets - ang mga jeepneys magpaugat maski GO kay mohunong gihapon para mamik up pasahero

yes i have my own i dont need that guy's list

    Sayop nga analogy.

Code review is very specific. It addresses the 'code smells' nga makit-an sa usa ka block of software instructions. Its intention is not to generalize.

Ang usa ka team lead nga nag-review sa usa ka piece of code obligadong mohatag og mga recommendation unsaon pag-improve anang maong piece of code. It is not his intention to criticize the software program as a whole.

Compare that to the video mentioned in this thread. Title pa lang daan, 'generalized' na.

now why would you consider my example as an exact replica of the situation? my point is criticism, peer reviews, etc are necessary for us to improve. there's nothing wrong with what he said because it's the truth. cebu is in the philippines, is it not? yeah, it's true that it's not the same in every province, city but it's very common, very generic in fact. so ayw mog kalain kng sawayon ta, nothing wrong with that. as much as filipinos like to be complimented, it's just right that we should be humble enough to accept criticism. we're not children anymore that our feelings should be considered, we need to hear the hard truth to better ourselves. tama na ang childish behaviors, let's all grow up. the world does not owe us anything that we should expect them to treat us better than the rest of the world.

nganung malain mn lagi gyud mo uy nga gisaway ta? let's take it as a constructive criticism gud, pra mana maimprove ta. prehas rana sa work sa usa ka IT, when they make programs, it will go through peer review, lead review then if naa sayop, the programmer will be informed then tarungon then have it reviewed again until it's to the reviewer's expectation.

Wala ka nakasabot. Cebu is not the whole Philippines. So what is true in Cebu might not be true in all the other parts of the country.

This Jimmy who got fired from Bigfoot is not the world. He doesn't even represent the people of America.

That's an infantile idea. No, you all have a problem because someone from the outside voiced criticism, and though I don't care for his smug demeanor (which btw, is obviously for the camera only), he has a perfectly valid point.

The guy in the video made observations common to any third world country, and surprise, the Philippines just happens to be one. If you have a problem with generalizations, then that label alone is a big enough generalization already. Please, let's not pretend this country isn't what it's made to be in the video, because that would be stupid. I love this country, and I accept all the shit in the Philippines for what it is. Doing otherwise shows you're in denial and have a misplaced sense of pride.
