He was interviewed in UKG's Punto por Punto segment this morning.
He even challenged Gonzales to speak against him about the issue, and not just delegate the tasks to Gonzales' spokesperson.
Now, this man (Tiangco) got balls ...and the idealism and principles too!

Toby is not demeaning the House, nor his peers, given his damaging testimony against the administration.

He is in fact, trying to restore the damaged credibility of the House as an institution.

In a way, Toby is saying that no matter what, the House should stand up on its own and should not give in to Malacañang’s pressure tactics, even if it would cost them their priority development assistance fund.

Toby is quite aware of this fact. He knew how a sitting president can make life miserable for other elected officials like him. But nonetheless, he stood his ground.

Toby is not new ti this situation. When he voted against the impeachment case against then Chief Ombudsman Ma. Merceditas “Merci” Gutierrez and against the postponement of the ARMM elections and allowing President Benigno “Noynoy Aquino to appoint OICs in the region.

And for that, he almost failed to receive his PDAF in behalf of his constituents.

And so, as it was, Toby took the witness stand yesterday before the Senate sitting as an impeachment court where he effectively narrated how this administration had been coercing the members of the House to submit to its every whim, including the persecution of its perceived enemies, through the threat of the non-release of their PDAFs.

Does that constitute acts inimical to the interest of the House? I don’t think so. On the contrary, Toby’s testimony should be considered as noble acts aimed at saving the integrity of the House as an

institution, or what is left of it. And Toby, by testifying in the Senate sitting as an impeachment court yesterday, has come out the more honorable and credible man than his peers which Gonzales feared he might demean.

So, who should be more deserving to be expelled from the House of Representatives, Toby or his peers who signed the Corona impeachment complaint?

Definitely not Toby. he is a modern day knight ...

i only heard about toby when he was the one who gave that privilege speech which fell on deaf ears because the 188 tongressman
wouldnt give budge and still continue to railroad the impeachment complaint as to please the one hand on the cookie jar.navotas must be pleased and proud of what he did.
