A newly leaked slide on Intel's Ivy Bridge launch schedule has hit the web which puts any previous uncertainty to rest in terms of when exactly the first wave of chips will hit retail.As also indicated in recent reports, that day does indeed look to be April 29th with a bunch of Core i7 and i5 desktop models hitting retail at this time.
The slide also points to June 3rd for the arrival of certain other Core i5 models, while dual-core Core i3 and Pentium Ivy Bridge models are slated for "Holiday".Intel's coinciding 7-series chipset motherboards (Z77, Z75, H77 & B75) will also be released to market on April 29th, with enterprise level Q77 and Q75 Express chipset boards to follow in June.Source: DonanimHaber
