OT :
I still dont see the reason why such fellow Filipino's thinks outside the box by being so " patriotic " in the wrong context .
Lets all face it , we need UNCLE SAM . Maski tuta ta or whatever , we'need UNCLE SAM .

" A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. " - 2nd Amendment , Bill of Rights of the United States of America
sir i think theyre still being crippled by UN. theyre not allowed even to sell theyre 20year old boats(which is too young for our navy ) so they just scrap it. mura man ngali they are not allowed to sell military hardwares. d gani sila ka himo ug armed forces.. they just found a loophole sah law . ila sad constitution nag bawal..sus daghan unta sila ma donate sah atoh nga hardware
seriously? japan is not even allowed to raise an army? ngano man?
The decommissioned Yubari class Destroyer Escort would have been a nice addition to our fleet...
BTW:
The Presidential Ship "BRP Ang Pangulo" was built and given by Japan to us...
If the S.Korean will join hoping they bring their old Pohang Class and donate it to us, there are rumors sauna that they would donate one of their old Pohang Class corvette...
Japan can't make a standing army, like they did pre-world war II...They can't make carriers either, unlike pre-WWII when they had one of the navies whom embraced the power of aircraft carriers. Germany was like this, but because of the Iron Curtain, the west decided it would be better to give it a relatively strong fighting force. I think that will probably change if the balance shifts towards China's favor.
