    Default Understanding our food intake

Stay mentally young with more fish dinners: study - Yahoo! She Philippines

    Please read above info.

God given, natural food for our selves, if we take care of the "input" the "output" will be just as good. If we put the wrong fuel to the car or mix it with other things, definitely the car will not perform as good, there are specific "inputs" to achieve the right performance. Right, air, water and fuel mixture. So is our body. Take care of it as it is the only one we have..no spare or replacement parts. What we are is our gift from God, what we become is our gift to God..

Default Education is priceless - what about our poor-fisher-folks-farmers

World Bank: Poor education holds back Philippines - Yahoo!

This article above presents poor education as the major drawback of the Philippines– one thing that is not mentioned here are the “poor-farmers-fisher folks” that are suppose to provide food for our people in the Philippines. If our poor-farmers-fisher folks keep on using the same process and procedures they will keep on getting the same results. The vicious cycle just repeats itself - compounding our poverty situation. There has to be a better way, there has to be a shift in mindset and direction. I hope someone out there can tell the President of the Philippines - to support our Philippine Aquaponics. 4.5 million involuntarily hungry Filipino voices seem to be unheared..

We have to help educate our poor farmers-fisher folks regarding "integrated-farming"

Most of those who attend are not coming from agriculture or agriculture background, most are engineers(who have a love of nature or desire for healthy food) - However, your being an engineer(like myself) put you in a very advantageous position. You may not realize that for now. In fact, your background will expedite your learning curve. Just like setting up an electronic circuit board, first your goal, then you have to understand the functions of the components, basics - such as resistors, transistors, diodes, capacitors, and how each component operate. You know what you want to achieve and you are going to assemble it together. In this case, it is a lot easier(but also has it's frustrations and trials)

The thing is unlike hi-tech, the technology here is low-tech and and can be acheived using "backyard components". I shied away from hi-tech because of the fast pace development many of which you cannot control. Everytime Microsoft, Apple etc., changes, you have to change, they dictate the direction. In this case, no one dictates except you once you have the building blocks. You are in control of the environment and what you want to achieve. You know what the parameters you want to control and how you want it. You can innovate. You "ENGINEER" your "PROCESS and SYSTEMS" and work with mother nature and father time.

For programmers/IT - you are able to develop your own language and program it to function that way you desire because there is so much to explore and discover and only your imagination is the limit. You are not dependent on the programs made by others and keep on updating yourself of the changes they have made. You program your life and not others to dictate what is good and not good for your system. You are empowered and in control of your processes. You can develop your own IP(intellectual property)

Default Solar pump retrofitting and upgrades

    Hi Kaped,
Average price would depend on the application, there are quite a number of options available:
    a. Existing pump and we provide solar power system - panels, controllers(calculated compatible to pump load), back-up battery etc., price would range from 40k to xxx depending on your capacity of pump, number of operating hours per day. This is retrofitting. Hence, payback would range from 3 to x years depending on your usage and capacity.
    b. New installation - pump and solar powered: range would be 70 K up, once again depending on usage, pump capacity etc.,
    (Pump is DC powered)
    c. Client has already Solar Power-windmill-hydro-wave-fuel cell(or other alternative sources of DC power) and want to provide a DC powered pump, Solar Pump(DC) can range about 35 K.
So there are a number of options available and to optimize your usage and cost we need to understand your requirements. Hope that answers your query. Have a blessed day.

    Default Manipulating Nature

Four Pangasinan Areas Affected by Red Tide

Red Tide – Is this not the same “technology” used by the “Heavens” against the Egyptians during the time of Moses. Plague after plague due to stubbornness of the Egyptians to release the Isralites. We forget history and are bound to repeat the mistakes done by others.

The “Heavens” work with nature – our transgressions are our own makings. STD’s, Herpres, Gonorhea, Syphilis, AID’s etc., are the Heavens punishments against our “transgressions”. All these problems are self-induced, we are shooting ourselves in the foot. Nature only reacts and responds to our abuses against Mother Earth. This is no different when we get flooded. Abuse of our forest and trees and we get punished by the “heavens”. Lots of collateral damage from our greed, many innocent people have to pay for the greed of the few.

As skeptics would say - “The great flood could have been just mythical and imagination of some dubious authors ??”

Please see above site. I hope most people in the Philippines will hopefully realize the quality of organic produce – producing the way nature intends it to be and not mass produced for profit while destroying the environment. Working with nature and not against nature.
