"Winston In Concert" will kick off its annual rock concert tour when it brings top bands Bamboo and Urbandub to the Queen City of the Visayas at Ratsky Ayala, Cebu City, come January 12 (Friday) beginning 8PM onwards.
Fans can expect high energy performances from two of the local music scene's top draws. Cebu's own Urbandub will take center stage to perform their own brand of rock nirvana, with Gabby Alipe, NU 107's 2006 Vocalist of the Year, leading the sonic charge. Not to be outdone will be Bamboo - perhaps the most in-demand band in the country today. Expect both groups to rock the SRO crowd with hit after hit after hit - all amidst the pomp and pageantry of Sinulog week. If you live to rock, you certainly wouldn't want to miss this!
For several years running, Winston has established itself as the weekend music authority by gathering only the biggest names in the local concert scene and featuring the hottest upcoming groups to watch out for. Last year's Wings Tour was definitely Winston's most successful ever; more bands were signed up, more cities and venues were conquered nationwide, and more jam-packed concerts than ever. This year promises to best even that, so keep an eye out for upcoming Winston-led events in your area.
Watch out for Winston In Concert upcoming events on January 19 at Aruba Tomas Morato, Quezon City featuring Freestyle; and on January 26, catch Parokya Ni Edgar at Pier 16 Bar & Restaurant, Iloilo City.
These events will only accommodate its venue capacity. All aforementioned special events are open to person 18 years old and above only. The organizer reserves the right to refuse entry to minors and those without valid ID as proof of age.
