Is It Right to Correct the 20 Year Wrong Done To Mandaue City ???

since 1992 my City has been eligible to be a Lone Congressional District ...

but up to now nothing ... in fact it was a non-Mandauehanon former Cong. Efren Herrera who filed a bill for it ... ... but was blocked by former Senator Sonny Osmena in the Senate ... ...

Cong Luigi Quisumbing will not even talk to the officials of Mandaue on how to correct this wrong ...

Yes it is correct that mandaue should have a lone district But!

To all the readers of this thread....do you agree that Mandaue should have a lone district at the expense of leaving out Consolacion and Cordova?

To my understanding of the link it says that if Mandaue will be given a lone district then Consolacion and Cordova will be left out with no district .... as this 2 municipality will not satisfy the requirement for a congressional district....

Is mandaue gonna be selfish and leave these other municipalities alone just for the sake of having a lone district? You be the judge...

there are many options to solve the lone district issue of my City ...

the problem is ... that up to now tongressman BOLAY-OG ... has never discussed with my City's elected officials on how to correct this wrong ...

and if you really dig into the problem ... BOLAY-OG who was 6th district provincial board member for 2 or 3 terms ... never moved to help my Mandaue gain its rightful place in congress ... ... you can understand why he's gained the name BOLAY-OG ...

my Mandaue was qualified in 1992 ...

Lapu-Lapu qualified in 2007 ...

BOLAY-OG contributed by his inaction ... ... why my City is not a congressional district at all ... ... now that the responsibility is directly in his hands ... he continues to stonewall my City's hopes and aspirations for a seat in congress ...
