LOL. I know. Balance jud dapat sir. But I think if Marcos only ended his term right this could've been the country's situation. I mean, dili man sad siguro forever nga under Martial Law ang Pilipinas if that People Power thing didn't happen right? But the proverbial "What is done, is done" applies here.

But it's not the end yet, I am still hoping for a better Philippines.

i heard it was a covert operation by the CIA.. relevant worldwide scenario at this time is the rising of communism / socialism.. that's why the US is very bent on making several dictators in the Pacific.. and the likes of castro, and marcos..

former Defense Minister Enrile ni angkon man gani nga peke ang assassination nya..

I was happy no one in my family has ever attended this epic fail revolution. At least I could say our family was not part of the idiot crowd who flocked to EDSA who supported this revolution that made the country poor! Though we were just living near EDSA when that time happened.

    Default The EDSA Revolution

Almost all of the Filipinos view the first revolution on EDSA as a victory of democracy, of freedom, of the people. Now in actuality I personally was not part of that day, I was not physically part of that so called victory, I wasn't there, but looking at it I can fairly say that what happened on that day didn't have any real or lasting impact on the lives of the Filipino people. Sounds absurd? At a glance it can be but looking further you can see the horrible reality.
Yes, the people was able to throw down dictatorship, yes, the people was able to reclaim democracy, yes, they can say that they have restored freedom which can be enjoyed by further generations but with all due respect I would say that they were wrong. Everywhere you look, everyone you know is still trapped, is still imprisoned, is still not free for they are bound by the chains of a dictator more dreaded than the one overthrown at EDSA, more cruel, more dangerous, and that dictator is called capitalism. It is the main thing that runs the nation, that tries and is somewhat succesful in controlling the minds and manipulating the Filipino people. The evidence is clear, from politics to media, everything is controlled by ruthless capitalist driven by greed and powered by money. From what you read in the newspapers to what you see on the television, everything is controlled by the unseen hand of capitalism. You can't find any senseless news on the TV, Radio or on the Newspaper, everything that you read, hear and see is geared towards instilling fear, fear that can make you buy things that you don't virtually need just to make you feel safer, everything that you read, hear and see is manipulated to affect your opinion, trying to take away the freedom for you to think for yourself and would only have to rely on fancied words said by known people as you blindlessly take sides and make decisions with no solid basis. You have trust on your elected leaders, you voted for them thinking that they can somehow help your lives be better, that they can be help in promoting the change that have been for so long wanting for but then, you are wrong, politicians, as what the common man know, only run for office because of the money, but it is not entirely. They are their not only to serve their personal interest but also the bigger interest of the capitalist that have backed them, they are not promoting progress, they are merely delaying it in any way that they could. They make laws, they implement rules, but only that ones that in some way would favor capitalism.
So you think that what happened in EDSA is some sort of victory? Well sir, no offense, but you are terribly wrong, you were only made to believe in a lie so you would forget the real dictator that has been controlling your lives right from the start.
You are not free, you are still a slave of your own fear induced by a power driven only by greed and benefit of personal interest. The essence of the EDSA Revolution is just a mere fantasy.
And to you there is only one thing I can say, and that is to Wake up, make a stand, break free, this will not be a call to arms but a call to open your eyes to the horrible truth right in front of you, do not be afraid for it is them who should be afraid.

EDSA was a victory for the demagoguery, not democracy.
