Fish oil should not be confused with Vitamin E because the latter is used as preservative for the oil. Just as I thought, my nephrologist prescribed me fish, brand name is OMACOR because of its concentration (highly concentrated). It is highly recommended for kidney patients and to those with cholesterol problems. It should come with balanced diet as well.

Omega 3 (EPA/DHA) is really really good for the body but if you can eat the whole fish, much better (and perhaps cheaper). There are differences in the absorption between actual fish and fish oils.
