    Default government military procurements

tapok tah diri mga military members/enthusiast. gather tah diri. lets have a "healthy" discussion here all about mga plano pamaliton, napalit, ug mga karaan or mga gipang update.. pati nah ang mga planong updates/upgrade..rule: 1. after posting pictures pls provide links coz we aint pirates here.2. be intelligent in posting pictures not being offensive (we are all gentlemen here)3. in rule 2 blurring of faces of military men is highly advisable.4. no unwanted comments allowed. pls lng. backread or provide evidence before accusing.. (media is no evidence)5. if you want to attack people here i suggest read rule number 2 of istorya.net6. 7.8. additional rules will be added soon.
We need to rally around the intelligent post and ignore the stupid ones...
We need to work as a community to maintain the tone and quality of discussion.
putting rules so that we can minimized replies like this. this is so ugly indeed.
I never thought i will encounter replies which are, how will i describe it "mentally incapitated" post or people suffering from "lucid intervals"
The recent number of poster with "chronic intellectual incapacity" is amazing.. the sire is flooded with absurd senseless and stupid post...
kamong tulo ba... agree2x mo, i prove kuno be harong makita nato ang katag ug dili ta pasagad ug yaw2x.. ganhan na tana ko mo post diri balik pero ma wad-an man sad tag gana tungod ani nga mga klase nga poster... PROVE IT... nuff said... i admire people who ask and not assume and I HATE people who assume without asking...enough with "Corruption Porn" its soo stupid, better do an action than talk about it without an action..hay have to leave this thread again.. until you three can find and prove your assumption... i wont be back...

The Naval Sea Systems Command (PN) and Mapua Robotics (MIT) jointly developed prototypes of semi-autonomous combat robots. Live-fire demonstration was held in Cavite Naval Base last Dec. 2, 2005. The above picture shows Project Phalanx (left) and Project Trident Strike (center). Other aspects of the projects are still highly classified.

    Philipines Marine Corps RPG Cage

In order to improve the survivability of Marine and Army armored units, the Philippine Marines has designed and built a mesh system designed to detonate RPG rounds away from the main armor. By detonating it before the round strikes the main armor, the effect of the molten jet generated by the RPG shaped charge is dissipated. At least that is the plan, the Marines are currently waiting on the delivery of sample RPG rounds from GHQ AFP to enable them to conduct destructive testing to test the effectiveness of the screens and redesign if required.

The system is similar to that already developed and deployed by the US Army on their Stryker Armored vehicles.

    40mm Bofors Mk3
Carriages built locally from guns taken from decommissioned PN ships. The guns themselves were refurbished prior to mounting onto the gun carriages. A further number of guns are planned on lighter and more mobile gun carriages.
