GMA was backed by Cory before she decided to go against the Cojuangco interests in HL. And bai, the Aquino has always been put in favorable light since Aquino returned ABS-CBN, Meralco and PDI to the Lopez's--C. Aquino backed GMA until she started to think for herself and meddle in issues with the HL. The media made it out that Arroyo was responsible for the massacre, when in fact she was in a confrontation with the Cojuangcos with regards to the DAR and PARC. Those soldiers were dispatched on behalf of the Cojuangcos.
