A leaked slide reveals AMD is preparing to release three new Zambezi based FX CPUs with 95W TDP - FX-8140, FX-6120 and FX-4150.
AMD FX-8140 is a fully enabled 4 module, 8 core part, featuring clocks of 3.2 GHz and Turbo Core up to 4.0 GHz - 0.1 GHz more than the FX-8120. However, it is unknown if like FX-8120 it will ship in both 95W and 125W variants. FX-8140 will co-exist with two other 95W CPUs - FX-8120 and FX-8100, the latter of which has only ever appeared in OEM systems thus far and has yet to show up in retail.FX-6120 will be a 6-core CPU, with a 0.2 GHz boost over FX-6100, at 3.5 GHz base and 4.1 GHz Turbo. Finally, FX-4150 will be the new quad-core CPU, with clocks at 3.9 GHz and 4.1 GHz Turbo. The exact pricing details and release dates are unknown, though they are likely to release in March.In addition to these 95W models, AMD is also releasing at least two new 125W CPUS in Q1 - FX-6200 and FX-4170 - both of which have been spotted online for pre-orders.
