It never matters how many waves are there.
What matters is,
How many waves touched the seashore.

my point is... my monitors are calibrated properly. it comes out im my monitor as being too bright...that means your image is slightly over exposed. basically fill flash was too strong. no histogram can say otherwise. histogram can tell you that it didnt go over its range but the image is still bright. it didnt blend/comeout as well as it could have with less fill flash...gets mo na?!
ok now if it comes out on other peoples monitor as dark or properly exposed then they need to calibrate their monitor.
btw, i dont think your getting the right idea about monitor calibrations...better research on that
ok now, im not asking you to edit your photo. so by all means leave it as is...all im saying is that the image is slightly over...not the perfect exposure...meaning you could have taken more time preparing for that shot and made the proper metering with your flash...blah blah blah (i dont want to explain/mention everything)...to get it perfect/right when you took it (thats how you like it right? ...read my 1st post regarding ur image. i said try -1/3 or -2/3 less than the current output of the flash for that shot to get more detail on the subject...thats all...im only giving you my views on how you can improve in taking that shot...no need to be so defensive with your histogram...like i said, it doesnt matter.
bottomline, based on that shot, your fill flash was just too strong.

I can only see the filename of the images at the back of the prints boss. And I know this printing lab, they don't do adjustments, they just print whats in your card. I know about monitor calibrations. Thats why am a bit worried because not everybody has the calibrated monitors for viewing so I just leave it as how it looks like in my histogram and camera LCD. Don't have any choices boss because I was concern more on the print results because its a requirement. I know its overexposed, I can see it in my monitor too but I have no choice because like I said if it looks good on print I couldn't care for more. Am not being defensive or whatsoever, honestly am very much thankful for your comments because now I know some images won't look good at everybody's monitor and that gives me more motivation to do my stuff right. Thanks boss markyap.Originally Posted by markyap
