for me the subject is a little overexposed...some of her details are lost...on my calibrated monitor its distracting already...hayag ra kaayo...
try -1/3 or -2/3 on the fill flash

Yeah thats what I thought when I looked at it in my computer but the histograms are ok and I always trust the histograms than the monitor calibrations so I though it should be doing just fine. I also have the prints and its great but then I still wonder why.

Actually boss markyap, the place is very dark and with very high ceiling so I went for the max flash output with the lightsphere and thats what I got. Histograms are ok though but still the way I see it your right. Could be a monitor calibration problem or something?

as mentioned before, when you have something printed sa lab, usually (almost universaly) printers tend to adjust the image in their printing machine before its actually printed.

use histograms as a guide, not the end all. its the actual visual image that matters the most.
funny how u dont give a damn bout the look of the actual final image/picture on a CALIBRATED MONITOR but force the issue that its not overexposed based on your understanding of the histogram. baliktad ata. dili bah dapat bahala na shakoy ang histogram basta the image looks good? people looking at your photos dont look at the histogram. they look at the photo.

Am not sure though if the printing labs adjusted the photos but when I checked on it and it was quite good compared looking at my monitors. I just leave it as is as long as the histograms are good after all that matters to me are the prints. I assumed that most viewers don't have the same monitor calibrations some may look at it a bit darker, or brighter or some might see it as properly exposed. Thats one thing I considered but thanks a lot for your comment boss markyap, I really appreciate it.

i'd have to agree with mark. i have an LCD and a CRT running side by side and on both monitors, the subject is a bit too bright....
