MMDA fines the production crew for illegal parking . WTFFFFF ..

I worked in the lighting dept for CBC before I took a stage manager job . When the producers has been given permission by the municipal gov't to shoot in the particular area , the production team can park their car and trailers anywhere as long as it's on the area . Local businesses that in the vicinity can still open their business , public can still be in the area but that depends on the production manager's discretion . Sometimes the production can ask the public who happen to be in the area to do the 'background' work .

This makes me wonder , why the MMDA was there in the first place ? The police should've been there and serve as a security as per the agreement on the leasing of the area (most common in movie/tv production) . Nagpa epal pa jud ning taga MMDA and wasting the production's time and money . I know what it feels like to be behind schedule cuz being in a production crew is a very tough job , and we have to convince the 'star/s' to stay for longer time when they start to get bitchy since they are paid by contract not hourly , and an hour extension work for the crew is another thousands of dollar down the drain for the producer .

I can't wait for their report when they get to LA ! Although the TV/movie industry is getting bigger but we have a tight-knit community . If the report says it's not a pleasant place to make productions there , then BOURNE LEGACY might be the last blockbuster movie to be shoot in the Philippines .

Wow. Pakauwaw lang. Mao ni "It's more fun in the Philippines"? Mao ni "Mabuhay ang Pilipinas"? Ahem.

Also, according to the report, Francis Tolentino, Chairman of the MMDA, "was there" when the cars were ticketed. WHY was he there? Murag sakto jud ka; naa'y nagpa-epal. Nya nganong kani man nahimong priority, all of a sudden, to the point where it even "warranted" the presence of the chairman himself? Daghan gihapong reklamo about smoke-belching vehicles nga hantod karon wa pa ma sulbad or gilihok...nya karon naa pa sila'y pa ingon2x nga "they still have to abide by our laws"? WHAT LAWS? Kutob ra storya; kutob ra pa-papel.

'The Bourne Legacy' Manila shoot marks its 14th day today, January 25, exactly two (2) weeks since the filming began in January 11.

Everything has been going fine and flowing smoothly since they started shooting here, except that the production team got robbed while filming at one location today.

The 'Bourne Legacy' production's 3 rolls of electric cables with estimated amount of over 100-thousand pesos were stolen during the shoot today at the Navotas City Fish Port Complex.

That's so shameful! It's definitely more fun in the Philippines, isn't it?

The incident is only 2 days after a group of foreign tourists also lost their belongings in Binondo, Manila last Monday.

As reported on GMA's "24 Oras" last night, it happened while the tourists were dining at a fast food chain in Binondo, when a man at the other table stole their baggage. The incident was caught on CCTV.

The foreign tourists visited Binondo to witness the grandeous Chinese New Year celebration there, which they documented on video.

Stolen things, which reportedly cost a total of $10,000 or close to 500-thousand pesos, include cameras and the video captures of the places they've visited in the Philippines.

This is really shameful! According to the media that the security was very tight... how did it happen? if it was taken by a CCTV then those guys should be in jail soon... hopefully!!!!
