I always cheer for the underrated . Fun to watch . Also , Sixers are ranked #1 in SRS (Simple Ranking System) , and #1 in team DRTg (Defensive rating) .
SRS: 8.28 (1st of 30)
DRTg: 95.1 (1st of 30)
SOURCE: 2011-12 Philadelphia 76ers Roster and Statistics | Basketball-Reference.com
What does this mean ? SRS is the only accurate system to find out who's the 'best' team and likely to win the game instead of looking at like how ESPN analysts would do like 'how many wins does team X has when against team Y in the last [insert #] games - which is called retrodictive system . As for Defensive rating , it is a measurement of a player/team's efficiency at stopping his oppenent/opposing team from scoring . It pretty much simple, defense wins championship .
Sixers might surprise the NBA fans . As of now , they are playing like they want to be in the Finals and Collins is doing a great job with this team . Yeah , with only a small fraction of the season completed , we’ll have to wait and see if this trend holds up .
toronto raptors..
FAQ using stats lol. though the Sixers are playing good this year and is my dark horse pick out East.
In the playoffs, it is all about experience and a key/clutch player stepping up its game to the highest level. Who's that player in Philly? Sorry, but I can't find one. However, cheers to their teamwork! 5 players averaging double-digit points (from 16 to 10) and with 2 other players at 9+ pts per game. That's great! I am not sure, but so far, the only team I know with this similar stat is the Nuggets. Which is my choice, if we're talking about underdogs, and Gallo as the clutch player!
i hope that the miami heat will win the championship na!
