Master Romeo, I dont mean to sound rude but... what's the actual reason you want to be a DJ? You mentioned that you were "desperate". It doesn't leave any good implications.. Do you wanna learn scratching or putting two songs together?

IMO i think its the DJ's job to be updated of the latest music. you can't just ask for music from other DJ's. its not being selfish but i think you have to do your part as well. dedicate a part of your time to research on music. we have been in your place before but instead of getting the easy way, we chose to make an effort of finding those music that syncs to our music taste/preference.
