    Unsa man na ang "server side scripting" bai? Pwede raman guro mag JACK OF ALL TRADES, MASTER OF NONE, at least, familiar ka ba kay sa wala jud ka idea kung unsa na sila di ba?

    Server-side scripts are scripts that will run in the server. Example: PHP, Ruby On Rails, ASP.NET, Java og unsa panang malang mananap sa web development

    Naa man gud scripts nga sa client/browser modagan, like javascript.

    For Jack of All trades and master of none. IMO, it is good that you'd be familiar with a lot of technologies - Jack of all trades. Because with a field like ours, where things are updated frequently and new things keeps popping up, if you'd stay in one place you'd get stuck. But it is advisable if you'd be able to at least be comfortable with one area. e.g. "I know the basics of java, ruby and perl, but I'm comfortable with C#." - something like this.

    naay daghan debate regarding anang "generalists" vs "specialists", and they deserve a whole topic of discussion. each has their own advantages/disadvantages, basta situational ra jud na kung asa mas nindot
