Umm..I'm pretty sure not many people buy into the Philippine industry, nowadays, because there's nothing but crap in them. The Philippine entertainment industry is not as rich as it used to be, now it is made up of regurgitated story-telling and ripoffs. Blame piracy my a**. I'm not grilling Filipinos, but the movie industry itself. If they want their movies to be more successful than they are right now, then they should at lease make a not so half-a**ed attempt at making their movies better. No originality.

SOPA is to target offshore based website mainly in asia (specifically china).
I never heard anyone (composers or recording artists) that became jobless due to piracy. The real problem is the product itself -- movies are in low quality and songs are copycats and being revived numerous times. Kill the mindset that Filipino movies suck. And that Filipino music is boring. By then people will patronize the products.
they have a name for it, let me recall.... ah its SuPSOPA = Sunod-sunod Pareha sa SOPA
Actually, the music scene is really going downwards when it comes to album sales, but the expenses for building up a talent and for them to be discovered compensates the sales. It's not chip to build a talent... but because of the technology now, just one click to upload music and videos in the internet, a nobody can be the famous bands/stars of tomorrow. so they gained more now compared before... that's what the asinine music label companies doesn't understand.
hihi that would really click if we pass this one... It is more fun with SupSOPA..![]()
True. So many talent search winners and all they sing in the end which will land on their albums are revivals that were also revived so many freakin' times.
+1. Who would ever want to buy songs that were already sung by so many different singers? Also, I don't think this is worth 200 pesos..
Or is it?
I don't think this is worth 600 pesos as well (DVD copy)
