I honestly and highly believe ang bag-ong album sa Urbandub naa gyuy international appeal. Ambot. Grabe gyud kanindot. Pag-release nila sa Embrace, murag na solidify na gyud ang akng pagka fanboy ani nila! haha. I haven't loved the music of any other filipino artist as much as I love the music of urbandub now. hala pagdrama.

i tell everybody that i know here about urban dub. i tell black people, white people, brown people, yellow people, blue people, pink people. most of the time, at first, i get the shrug and the question, "so is this TAGALOG? i don't understand no tagalog s**t!" altogether said with the unimpressed look. but when i grab out my ipod and stick the earphones on their ears, after a few minutes, i get the bewildered eyes and the phrase, "no s**t! f*** you... this ain't filipino... no s**t dude? it sounds sick!" enough said... that's how your music is... appealing to every color, every race, every attitude, every mood, every weather, every way of living. so when are you guys coming over?

Ang shiela pud nindot napud kau. Ambot uy, murag ang mga cebuano man gyud ang mga artistic kau sa ilang craft. Kung maminaw ko ug taga manila nga banda, murag naa gyuy certain distinction (tingali ang bicycle i-pronounce baysikel) hehe. Basta bilib gyud ko sa taga cebu. Artists gyud ba.

I also feel the absence of mass media coercion (ABS-CBN and GMA) here in cebu helps develop our homegrown artists. Lets them concentrate on their roots, influences-- rather than the glitter and glam of fame. Of course, naay mga black sheep like cueshe. haha. Sorry sa mga cueshe fans.

i just wonder why almost all urbandub's songs has similar guitar riffs and drumbeats.

good to know that Cebu bands are now recognized throughout the nation. back then, 80s, early 90s, they'd be lucky just to even have their songs released. i remember 40 The Band, trying out the national audience, changed their name (can't even remember the name now), and failed miserably.
